PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear CMC Family,

 

As we embrace the summer season, we do our best to stay hydrated amidst the triple digit temperatures many of us are experiencing. While we hydrate our bodies, I also want to encourage us to hydrate our minds and renew ourselves as professionals. I am reaching out with great enthusiasm to share some exciting CMC developments and reaffirm our collective commitment to mathematics education. CMC promotes professional excellence and effective communication while remaining steadfast in our commitments to inclusion and diversity, and our belief that all students can become mathematically competent and confident when provided with a rigorous and challenging mathematical program supported by high expectations.

 

At the core of CMC’s mission are three fundamental commitments:

We commit to fostering professional activities that ensure continual improvement toward excellence in mathematics teaching. We strive to provide educators with the tools and resources to inspire and engage their students in meaningful mathematical learning through conferences and collaborative initiatives.
